Axolotl
So this may only be of interest/relevant to myself, because I am an axolotl, but whatever.
Apparently the term "axolotl", which is a type of Mexican salamander, is also used in the Dune series of books as some type of breeding/cloning machine, and then to produce the addictive spice that is important in the series. (It's been quite a while since I've read Dune, and I believe Axolotl is mentioned in the later books, which I haven't read).
Cool.
