The Electric Version (part one)
Get it? the electric version of the story?
I went kayaking today. In the rain. It was awesome.
I also semi-participated in a pancake cook-off and ate about 7 truly superb pancakes for dinner. The strawberry-chocolate chip pancakes were pretty good, but I preferred the blueberry ones (oh yes--the pancakes were made from scratch). Actually, the apple-cinnamon ones were pretty sick too.
I've also realized how much I love cooking. Seriously. I made spaghetti with broccoli and meatballs for dinner for several people yesterday and it was awesome. Next weekend I'm making chocolate chip cookies.
I've learned 5 chords on the guitar and I can play the four "chords" (I only know the name of one) to Tom Petty's "Free Falling", as it's apparently the easiest song to learn. Now I just need to learn the words.
It's all good. More momentarily.
