Updates, plus the Engineering Cycle

I made the sweet wallet that I talked about a while ago. I also have pictures; however, they are currently stuck in a digital camera (not mine. Mine is dead). So hopefully I will get some pic-a-tures up soon.

I now have all of the songs that will be present in my mixtape experiment. This experiment is currently in the testing stage. Y'know, because I'm following the engineering cycle and all:
1. Understand the Problem
-Robyn needs some new music.
2. Design/Plan
-Robyn asks everyone for music.
3. Build a Prototype
-Robyn forgets a step
-Actually,
Robyn listens to the songs, and puts them in an order with minimal connectedness
4. Test
-Robyn listens to the songs and tries to create some smooth transitions
If there are still problems at step 4, Robyn goes back to step 1 to understand the new problem.

Once the problem is solved, Robyn shares.

In conclusion: Robyn should be an engineer.

Robyn also promises to stop blogging in the third person. Unless she really wants to.

  • Haha

You forgot all the steps in between each step. You know, step 1b: answer email about last wallet project that shouldn't be generating any questions 6 months later, especially not from the guy who's stamp is on the drawings. step 1c: get coffee.

    etc

  • step 2c: Snack break!

  • step 2d: find out where step 2b went. Dock its pay for taking leave without asking.

  • You know, I learned more about engineering from this post than all of my years in school.

Especially how to apply it to things that are unrelated on the surface...

  • I love how you re-commented 3 months after the original post...
but yes, interdisciplinary applications are key!
