Update

-Learning a 2 minute coordinated dance, then having to assist in the teaching of it to about 800 people, then watching said group of 800 people DO the dance, is one of the greatest and craziest experiences ever.

-The other day I completed a career matchmaking test online (through Career Cruising). These were my top 10 careers, based on a preference quiz of about 90 questions:
1.High School Teacher
2.Elementary School Teacher
3.Early Childhood Educator
4.Dentist
5.Dental Hygienist
6.Professor
7.Acupuncturist
8.Optical / Ophthalmic Lab Technician
9.ESL Teacher
10.Picture Framer
I love how it's about half teaching-related, half med-related. And then: Picture Framer.

-I have lots to say about Facebook. But I think that I want to actually write a long, coherent piece about it, not a blog post.

-If you haven't read it, I highly, highly recommend reading "The Time Traveler's Wife" by Audrey Niffenegger. I would call it "literary science fiction". It's very beautiful, and very sad.

-I want/need to read "Spook Country" by Wiliam Gibson, and "Axis" by Robert Charles Wilson.

-"In Our Bedroom After the War" by Stars is a lovely album, insofar as I've listened to it.

That's all for now.

  • I almost bought that book at a book store in Ireland for really cheap... I don't know why I didn't, but it seems to be cropping up everywhere.

Picture framer sounds like a sweet job... Well, no.

I'd love to read your piece on facebook (well, not actually if it's posted on facebook... um....). I had an account for 3 months. It annoyed me. Now I don't.

Where's VBM? The world needs VBM!

PS I have a girlfriend now.

  • Once I actually write a piece about Facebook, I will send it to you.

We will discuss more about all of this on chat!
