Pens
This summer, a scientific research experiment was conducted to determine the best writing pen on the market. It was conducted by two reseachers, dedicated to the cause. Their control and experimental groups were representative: two people, the same in each group. It was a difficult research experiment; in fact, a whole hour was spent discussing various pens, their colour benefits, grip, drip, leak-through habits, flow, and so forth. After much deliberation, chocolate milk, and head-scratching, a conlusion was reached: the BIC round-stic grip (or was it ultra-grip?).
In any event, I believed the results, and three weeks ago purchased a box of said pens. I've been using them hard-core for these past three weeks and concluded that they drive me nuts. They just don't flow well. The ink doesn't move--you need to use an ultra-grip to drive the pen into the paper. So, I've switched back to my previous pen habits: black, liquid gel ink in the rollerball type pens (similar to Uniball); plus my handy dandy Staedtler triplus fineliners that I use to make Valence Bond Man.
That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

you're crazy! you're nuts! Bic Round-Stic Grip Ultra are the best pens ever made. Perhaps you bought the plain Bic Round-Stic Grip (no ultra)? That is the only reason I can think of that you might have come to such a RIDICULOUS conclusion...

RIDICULOUS?! You, sir, are crazy.
Although, in checking now, I didn't buy the "ultra" ones. I can honestly say that the non-ultra ones are definitely the worst pens I've used, other than the Staples brand ones from Staples.
