I am going to do this someday. Watch out.

Note to self:

Do this at some point in the near future. Consider summer decoration requirements.

Not a bad idea...

Emailing back the scammers and spammers? Could be fun.

Doing nothing all day to recover from sickness = awesome.

Happy belated Pi day.

Film!

I've seen two movies in theatre in the past week-ish, which is a recent record for me.

The first movie was The Number 23, which I was laughing at the
basically entire time. When the "meaningful quote" from Numbers came onscreen at the conclusion of the film, some folks in front of my group stood up: "We have to leave. Right now." Added to this hilarity was the fact that one of my fellow movie-going friends fell asleep for the last ten minutes of the movie...and was slapped awake by my friend on his other side.

The movie could have worked, and it sort of did. It was a tad too obsessive for my liking, a tad too predictable. Though I did like the "twist" ending, and also the sweet use of score (by Harry Gregson-Williams, the guy who did Narnia) and film techniques. The filming/score was wicked.

Other film: The Painted Veil, starring Naomi Watts and Edward Norton. Looooooved it. Good story, amazing cinematography, cool little twists, a couple of laughs...what can I say? I enjoyed it. Good times.

Enough snow for ya?

We seem to be closing down everywhere today (U of T [all campuses], U Guelph, UW, Laurier [all campuses], Mac, probably more...). I kind of want to go revel in the snow but I think it's probably nicer to just look at it. Yeah.

EDIT: um, so I did end up going to revel in the snow. Walked through the freezing rain with some friends to get desserts at Williams...walked back through the rain, threw some snowballs, made some snow angels...oh yeah, then we started racing through waist deep snow, and began rethinking the idea once we were in the middle of the field of said snow. Brilliant and awesome.
